A Direct Consolidated Loan allows you to consolidate (combine) multiple federal education loans into one loan. The result is a single monthly payment instead of multiple payments and often times a lower interest rate
LOWER PAYMENTS
Generally, your payment amount under an income-driven repayment plan is a percentage of your discretionary income. The percentage is different depending on the plan. Depending on your income and family size, you may have no monthly payment at all.
DEFAULTED LOANS
Rehab withdraws your loans from the collection agency back to a servicer appointed by the Dept. of Education in good standings. All derogatory marks on your credit report left by the defaulted loans will be Removed. Any wage garnishment and/or tax offsets are released by Rehabilitating the defaulted loans
FOVEGIVENESS
Many borrowers qualify for student loan forgiveness. Depending on your occupation you may qualify for loan forgiveness after a certain period of time of paying back your loans. Borrowers enrolled in an Income Driven Repayment plan may also qualify.
